Kenya Approves GMP Certification to Venus Remedies for All its Manufacturing Facilities in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh

Venus Remedies has obtained a Good Manufacturing Practises (GMP) certification from Kenya. Following a thorough assessment of the business production facilities in Baddi, the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) of the Kenyan Health Ministry awarded the accreditation, recognising Venus Remedies dedication to quality assurance and international manufacturing standards.

This certification covers a wide range of parenteral formulations, including pre-filled syringes, ampoules, vial liquids, and lyophilized and dry powder injections.

It is a testament to Venus Remedies dedication to providing safe and effective medications of the best quality to patients around the world. Notably, the GMP certification covered the formulating facilities for cephalosporins and carbapenems as dry powder injections, oral granules, and liquid and lyophilised oncology products.

The growth of Venus Remedies in the COSMEA (Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa) region, of which Kenya is a key member, and subsequently the entire African pharmaceutical market, which is estimated to be worth $7.3 billion, will be aided by the GMP from Kenya, which is expected to be a $780 million market.
