American packaging solutions provider Averra has completed a major clean room expansion at its Salt Lake City thermoforming facility, effectively doubling its clean manufacturing area.

The newly built space has already been certified to ISO Class 8 standards for cleanliness and particulate count, matching the stringent standards of the company’s existing clean room operations. With the certification secured, the expanded area is ready to support the production of critical medical packaging and components that require impeccable precision and reliability.

According to the company, the expanded clean room space has been designed to accommodate an additional state-of-the-art inline medical thermoforming machine, engineered to deliver high-precision results and support stringent quality expectations.

The new line significantly strengthens Averra’s clean thermoforming capacity, enhances redundancy, and improves the company’s ability to manufacture parts that require high precision and tight tolerances. The new clean room is scheduled to enter service on November 24, 2025.
