Asahi Kasei's Microza Division Earns Gold EcoVadis Rating for Sustainability Excellence

Asahi Kasei’s Microza and Water Processing Division has been awarded a prestigious gold rating in the June 2025 EcoVadis sustainability assessment, placing it in the top 5 percent of over 130,000 organisations evaluated globally. The France-based sustainability rating agency assesses companies across 185 countries and 250 industries.

The gold rating reflects the division’s exceptional performance, particularly in the Environment category, highlighting its continued efforts to reduce ecological impact across manufacturing, supply chains, and value-added operations at the Microza Fuji Plant.

Microza’s hollow-fiber membrane technology supports water purification, wastewater reuse, and high-precision filtration in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, biopharma, food, and industrial chemicals. These solutions help industries enhance operational efficiency while reducing water usage and environmental footprint.

Satoshi Kobayashi, Senior General Manager of the Microza and Water Processing Division, said, “This recognition underscores our commitment to sustainability and technological innovation. We remain focused on delivering membrane solutions that promote safe water access and greener industrial practices worldwide.”
