The new formats offer researchers greater flexibility and scalability to streamline sample tube processing workflows across diverse laboratory applications.   

The extended cap carrier range supports automated capping and de-capping of SBS-format sample storage tubes, helping laboratories enhance process efficiency and reduce the risks associated with manual cap handling. Designed to enable batch filling of tubes prior to capping, the carriers facilitate faster sample preparation while minimising the possibility of contamination and maintaining sample integrity.

Compatible with Azenta’s Semi-Automated and Automated Screw Cap Decappers/Recappers, the carriers are both stackable and reusable, and are available in cases of ten. Customers can choose between empty carriers or pre-filled versions with low-retention screw caps that reduce sample loss.

Produced from durable polycarbonate, the 24-format and 48-format cap carriers ensure the robustness demanded by busy laboratories.
