Breckenridge Pharmaceutical, the US subsidiary of Towa International, has announced a collaboration with Medichem Solutions, a subsidiary of Spain-based Medichem, to expand its portfolio of injectable medicines for the US hospital market.

The agreement covers a basket of injectable products used in anaesthesia, critical care and emergency medicine, reinforcing Breckenridge’s growing hospital-focused business line. The collaboration aligns with the company’s long-term strategy to deliver high-quality, affordable generic medicines to healthcare providers across the United States.

Brian Guy, President and Chief Commercial Officer of Breckenridge Pharmaceutical, said, “The partnership marks another milestone in the company’s strategic evolution into three distinct business segments—specialty, hospital and retail.” He further noted that working with Medichem Solutions will help strengthen Breckenridge’s diversified, patient-centric portfolio and support clinicians with reliable and cost-effective treatment options.

Medichem Solutions will manufacture some of the products at its newly established sterile fill-and-finish facility in Asturias, Spain.
