Cadila Pharmaceuticals creates ? Collaboration Vertical ? to drive synergies, growth

Ahmedabad-based Cadila Pharmaceuticals, one of the oldest and largest privately held pharma companies in the country, has created a Collaboration Vertical in an endeavour to drive synergies in its next phase of growth.

The Collaboration Vertical will work in close collaboration with different verticals of the company and usher in greater synergy and efficiency in the company’s operations.

“In a large company like Cadila Pharmaceuticals, multiple projects and research activities are going on simultaneously. Several drugs and molecules are under testing, trials, or production at any given point in time. There are also new opportunities coming up at regular intervals. The Collaboration Vertical will play the role of binding together the different verticals and ensure optimum efficiencies and performances,” said Hitesh Sumariya, Collaboration Head at Cadila Pharmaceuticals' who works with CMD Dr Rajiv I Modi.

The Collaboration Vertical will work closely with the leaders of different verticals as well as the top management in overall strategic planning and execution. 

“Cadila Pharmaceuticals is now embarking on the next phase of its growth of an agile work environment. Here, the need of the hour in the challenging business environment is a complete team effort, and this is where the Collaboration Vertical will come into the picture. The vertical will build common synergies among different departments as well as with other group businesses, going forward large companies will institute and strengthen this department and which can be instrumental in organisation growth,” added Sumariya.
