Cipla Limited has appointed M/s BNP and Associates as its Secretarial Auditors for a five-year term, commencing from the conclusion of the company’s 89th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and continuing until the conclusion of the 94th AGM.

BNP and Associates, with Partner Avinash Bagul, will also serve as the scrutinizer for Cipla’s AGM and other related matters

The appointment was approved by shareholders during the 89th AGM held on July 16, 2025.

Bagul is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and a member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India (formerly known as the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India), as well as an Insolvency Professional with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India. He has done post post-graduation diploma in Securities Laws, Bachelor of General Law. He has over 35 years’ experience in handling corporate affairs, Secretarial and Legal matters.

Founded in October 2014 by B Narasimhan — a fellow member and former president of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) — BNP and Associates is a firm of Practising Company Secretaries. The firm specialises in secretarial audits, corporate advisory, transactional services, legal due diligence, and compliance management.

It comprises four partners, one associate partner, and a 15-member executive team, including eight qualified Company Secretaries.
