Cipla to Acquire Inzpera Healthsciences for INR 110 Crore

Cipla Limited has announced that it will acquire a 100 percent stake in Inzpera Healthsciences Limited for a total consideration of approximately INR 110 crore. The acquisition aligns with Cipla’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the consumer health and paediatric wellness space, expanding its reach in areas focused on nutritional and lifestyle-related products.

Founded in 2016, Inzpera Healthsciences develops innovative and science-backed consumer healthcare solutions that address unmet needs in nutrition, gastroenterology, and respiratory wellness. The company reported a turnover of INR 26.75 crore in the last financial year.

Through this acquisition, Cipla aims to leverage Inzpera’s product pipeline, brand equity, and expertise in consumer-centric healthcare, while integrating it with Cipla’s strong distribution network and operational capabilities. This move will also enhance Cipla’s presence in the over-the-counter (OTC) and wellness segments, complementing its existing product portfolio.

The transaction is expected to be completed within one month, following which Inzpera Healthsciences will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Cipla. The acquisition reflects Cipla’s continued focus on diversification, innovation, and improving access to high-quality, affordable healthcare solutions for consumers across India and beyond.
