CPHI & PMEC India 2025: Romaco to Launch Noack N 950E Blister Packaging Machine with India-made Format Parts

German-based pharmaceutical machinery manufacturer Romaco is bolstering its presence in India with the localisation of format part production for its Noack 900 blister packaging machine series.

The company will showcase the Noack N 950E blister packaging machine, equipped for the first time with India-made format parts, at CPHI & PMEC India at CPHI & PMEC India, scheduled from 25 to 27 November 2025 at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida.

Following the exhibition, the N 950E will be available for demonstrations to customers and prospective buyers at the Romaco India Experience Centre in Hyderabad.

Since the establishment of the Romaco India Sales & Service Centre in Mumbai in 2019, the company has reported steady growth. A major milestone came last year with the opening of the Experience Centre in Hyderabad, a state-of-the-art facility that also houses a processing laboratory specialising in granulation, tableting and coating of pharmaceutical solids.

Localising format part production is expected to significantly reduce delivery timelines while maintaining the same quality standards as Europe-made parts, the company said.

“Furthermore, the resulting reduction in transport mileage will have a positive impact on the carbon footprint of these machine components, which aligns perfectly with Romaco’s sustainability strategy,” it added.

Assembly of the N 950E was completed at Romaco’s plant in Changsha, China, further highlighting the company’s strategy to strengthen its manufacturing base in Asia.

By expanding its production site in China and localising format part production in India, Romaco aims to better meet the requirements of its local customers and reinforce its commitment to the Asian markets.

Apart from the N 950E, Romaco will also display the VENTILUS Lab fluid bed processor from Innojet and the KTP 1X compaction simulator from Kilian — two laboratory all-rounders for R&D in the field of granulation and tableting — at CPHI & PMEC India.
