The Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP) has once again extended the deadline for submitting applications for the eligible products under the "Production Linked Incentive Scheme for Promotion of Domestic Manufacturing of Critical Key Starting Materials (KSMs)/Drug Intermediates and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) in India.”

The new deadline is now July 21, 2025.

Applications must be submitted online, and all other terms outlined in the earlier notification dated May 14, 2025, remain unchanged.

These include conditions such as allocation based on available capacities, product-specific incentive ceilings, and the incentive period—up to FY 2027-28 for chemical synthesis-based products and up to FY 2028-29 for fermentation-based products. 

Additionally, applicants (or their group companies and subsidiaries) who had previously been approved under the scheme for the same unsubscribed or partially subscribed products but later withdrew or had their approval cancelled due to non-performance are not eligible to reapply for the same products.

The original deadline for submitting complete applications was June 14, 2025, which was later extended to July 4, 2025.
