Emcure Pharmaceuticals has reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, recording healthy growth in revenue, profitability and operating margins, supported by sustained momentum across domestic and international markets.
The company posted consolidated revenue of INR 25,804 million during the quarter, representing a 22.8percent year-on-year increase. The growth was driven by consistent demand across multiple geographies and strong execution across its business segments.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 25.8 percent year-on-year to INR 5,080 million, while the EBITDA margin improved to 19.7 percent, an increase of approximately 50 basis points compared with the corresponding quarter last year. The improvement reflects enhanced productivity, operational efficiencies and the benefits of operating leverage.
Profit after Tax (PAT) registered an even stronger performance, rising 36.2 percent year-on-year to INR 2,925 million, highlighting the company's improved operational performance and disciplined cost management during the quarter.
Commenting on the results, Satish Mehta, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, said the company has entered FY27—the second year of its five-year strategic growth plan—with encouraging momentum. He noted that while FY26 focused on strengthening organisational capabilities, portfolio expansion, integration initiatives and operational discipline, FY27 is centred on execution and delivering measurable outcomes. According to Mehta, the first-quarter performance provides a positive indication of the company's progress against its long-term growth strategy.
Operationally, Emcure's performance was supported by continued strength across its leading brands in the Central Nervous System (CNS), cardiology and women's health portfolios. The company also reported improved execution at Zuventus, following strategic initiatives implemented over the previous two quarters to enhance business performance.
During the quarter, Emcure further strengthened its global product portfolio by securing more than 15 product approvals across both developed and emerging markets. These approvals are expected to support the company's continued expansion and reinforce its presence across key international markets.
With robust financial growth, improving operational efficiency and an expanding portfolio of approved products, Emcure has begun FY27 on a strong note, positioning itself to execute its long-term growth strategy while strengthening its presence across domestic and global pharmaceutical markets.
