GSK to Showcase Oncology Pipeline Data at ESMO 2026

GSK plc will present more than 20 abstracts from its solid tumour portfolio at the 2026 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress, scheduled for October 23–27 in Madrid, Spain. The presentations will cover lung, gynaecological and gastrointestinal cancers, featuring investigational data for risvutatug rezetecan (Ris-Rez), mocertatug rezetecan (Mo-Rez) and Jemperli (dostarlimab).

Among the key presentations, GSK will report results from the global Phase 1/2 EMBOLD PanTumor-101 trial evaluating Ris-Rez in Extensive-Stage Small-Cell Lung Cancer (ES-SCLC). The findings indicate anti-tumour activity and manageable tolerability at the dose selected for Phase 3 development. Alongside previously reported positive Phase 3 results from China, the data will add to the evidence supporting further evaluation of Ris-Rez in relapsed ES-SCLC, where treatment options remain limited.

GSK’s licensor, Hansoh Pharma, will also present detailed late-breaking Phase 3  results from the ARTEMIS-011 trial evaluating Ris-Rez in osteosarcoma. The presentation follows positive topline results announced earlier this year.

For platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, GSK will present 13-month follow-up data from the Phase I BEHOLD-1 study of Mo-Rez. The late-breaking results will include response durability, progression-free survival and tolerability findings for the investigational B7-H4-targeted Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC).

The company will also present results from the registrational Phase 2 AZUR-1 trial of Jemperli in adults with microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) or mismatch repair-deficient (dMMR) locally advanced rectal cancer. The late-breaking oral presentation will include findings on sustained clinical complete responses.

Hesham Abdullah, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Oncology R&D at GSK, said the congress presentations reflect the company’s progress in developing treatments for difficult-to-treat cancers, with a focus on durable responses, overcoming treatment resistance and reducing treatment burden.

Ris-Rez is an investigational B7-H3-targeted ADC linked to a topoisomerase inhibitor payload. GSK holds exclusive worldwide rights to develop and commercialise the candidate, excluding mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, under an agreement with Hansoh Pharma. The candidate has received several regulatory designations, including US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Breakthrough Therapy Designation for relapsed or refractory ES-SCLC and osteosarcoma, and European Medicines Agency (EMA) PRIME designation for relapsed or refractory ES-SCLC.

Mo-Rez is an investigational B7-H4-targeted ADC designed to combine a fully human monoclonal antibody with a topoisomerase inhibitor payload. GSK also holds exclusive worldwide development and commercialisation rights outside mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

Jemperli, a programmed death receptor-1 (PD-1)-blocking antibody, is being evaluated in clinical studies as a standalone treatment and in combination with other therapies across several cancers, including gynaecological and colorectal tumours.
