HAB Pharmaceuticals & Research (HAB Pharma) has appointed Pankaj Agarwal as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as the company strengthens its financial and organisational capabilities to support its growth plans across manufacturing, R&D and domestic and international markets.

A chartered accountant with nearly 18 years of experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, Agarwal brings expertise in financial strategy, planning and forecasting, reporting and compliance, fundraising, treasury management, audit, risk assessment and operational efficiency. Before joining HAB Pharma, he held senior finance positions at Innovcare Lifesciences, Max Healthcare and Vyome Biosciences. At Innovcare, he contributed to a USD 5 million Series C fundraise and an additional USD 1 million through non-convertible debentures, while also leading the implementation of SAP for the accounts function. He began his career in audit and compliance at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and later served as a Partner at Lahoti Roy & Associates.

At HAB Pharma, Agarwal will oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting, compliance, risk management and corporate governance. He will also work with the leadership team on financial discipline, operational efficiency and business decision-making.
