Harvard Bioscience Expands Fisher Scientific Distribution Network in US

Harvard Bioscience, Inc., a provider of laboratory equipment, has expanded its distribution agreement with Fisher Scientific. The expansion covers the United States and adds more products to the line-up. Fisher Scientific will now distribute Harvard’s pumps, spectrophotometers, and BTX electroporation systems in the U.S. market, in addition to existing European markets.

Under the new arrangement, Fisher will also carry emergent technologies from Harvard Bioscience, such as the Mesh Microelectrode Array (MEA) used in advanced organoid research. The partnership will allow Harvard products to reach more customers in North America. It should make ordering easier, speed up delivery, and improve local support for buyers.

John Duke, President and CEO of Harvard Bioscience, said this move is an important step toward making their instruments more widely available in the United States. By working with a trusted distributor, the company can provide convenience and reliable customer service.

The expanded access to Harvard’s precision tools—used in drug discovery, bio-production, preclinical testing, and life sciences research—will help laboratories across academia and industry acquire advanced technologies more efficiently.
