The Embassy of India in Cairo has issued a trade advisory cautioning Indian pharmaceutical exporters about dealing with an API importer in Egypt.

According to the advisory, several Indian companies have reported “significant delays” in receiving payments from Biomed for Pharmaceutical Industries, despite successful delivery of shipments.

The Embassy has advised all Indian pharmaceutical exporters to exercise caution in their transactions with the company.

It recommended that transactions be conducted strictly through official and secure payment channels with advance payment for the agreed shipment value to safeguard against potential payment defaults or delays.
