Lupin Limited, a global pharmaceutical company, has announced the appointment of Dr. Ranjana Pathak as its new Chief Quality Officer. Dr. Pathak will succeed Johnny Mikell, who is retiring from the company after serving as Chief Quality Officer.
Bringing over three decades of industry experience to her new role, Dr. Pathak will lead Lupin's quality and regulatory compliance efforts across its global operations. She joins Lupin from a distinguished career, having previously served as the Global Head for Quality and Pharmacovigilance at Dr. Reddy's. Before this, she held the position of President and Global Head of Quality, Medical Affairs, and Pharmacovigilance at Cipla.
Additionally, Dr. Pathak has held leadership roles in global quality and compliance at Watson/Actavis and Endo Pharmaceuticals in the US. Her expertise spans across generic and brand medicines, covering various dosage platforms such as injectables, inhalation products, and biologics.
