Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection to display wide range of pharma products at Interpack trade fair in May 2023

Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection will bring a message of productivity and integration to the Interpack trade fair in May 2023. The company will be showing a wide range of smart product inspection solutions that can help pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers manage the increasing need for digitalisation in the marketplace, as well as help combat rising manufacturing costs. Included will be a major new track & trace solution on display for the first time in Europe.

Under the banner theme of 'Boost Your Productivity' the Mettler-Toledo booth, A60 in Hall 11 at the Messe Düsseldorf, Germany, will comprise several different themed 'islands'. These will include areas dedicated to check weighing, metal detection, X-ray inspection, vision inspection, track & trace and combination product inspection systems, in which more than one product inspection technology is integrated within a single frame. An area dedicated to pharmaceutical product inspection will cluster together a range of smart product inspection solutions specifically for solid and liquid dosage pharma products, making it easy for visitors to discover pharma-specific solutions.

For the pharmaceutical sector, a major attraction at the Mettler-Toledo booth will be the new CT33 Track & Trace and Checkweighing combination solution. The CT33 has a small footprint and gives operators a deep level of integration between Mark & Verify, serialization and precision weighing capabilities. It features the high-performance FlashCell EMFR load cell and helps customers to boost productivity, achieve compliance, and increase their quality control processes.

The CT33 is just one example of how different product inspection technologies can be combined and integrated into a single device. Visitors to Interpack will be able to discuss this concept with experts and see other examples of combination machines. These new systems will help pharma manufacturers have control over specifying combinations of product inspection capabilities to meet their application requirements.

A range of additional existing track & trace solutions will also be on display at the show, including the T11 Manual Mark & Verify and the T16 Manual Multi Aggregation.

Interpack will provide Mettler-Toledo with the opportunity to unveil the X2 x-ray inspection platform. The X2 platform is designed for the inspection of small and medium packages with a belt width of 300mm and 400mm. X-ray inspection solutions within the platform are positioned to consistently deliver high -performance detection capabilities for ensuring the safety and quality of pharma products
