Natco Pharma Board Approves INR 1,300 Crore Rights Issue

Natco Pharma Limited has announced that its Board of Directors has approved a proposal to raise INR 1,300 crore through a rights issue to eligible equity shareholders of the company.

The rights issue will be offered to shareholders whose names appear on the company’s records as of a record date to be determined and notified later. The issue will be undertaken in accordance with applicable laws, including the SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, subject to the required regulatory and statutory approvals.

The Board has also approved the issuance of equity shares with a face value of INR 2 each to eligible shareholders under the proposed rights issue.

The proposed fundraising, which follows the Board’s decision at its meeting held on September 9, 2026, is expected to alter the company’s capital structure and shareholding pattern. As a result, corresponding changes will be required to the relevant Scheme.

The Board has further approved the Draft Letter of Offer for the rights issue in accordance with the Companies Act, 2013, SEBI ICDR Regulations and other applicable laws.
