Peli BioThermal and PAXAFE have announced a collaboration to combine pharmaceutical cold chain packaging with AI-driven monitoring and predictive analytics, aiming to provide a more integrated approach to temperature-sensitive biopharmaceutical logistics.
Under the collaboration, Peli BioThermal’s cold chain packaging portfolio, including the Credo Vault bulk shipper, CredoGO reusable shipper and DV10 dry vapor shipper, will be paired with PAXAFE’s digital intelligence platform. The integrated solution is designed to support lane planning, real-time shipment visibility, quality management, predictive analytics and compliance reporting.
The collaboration brings together physical temperature protection and digital intelligence across the pharmaceutical supply chain. The companies said the partnership will leverage their combined capabilities across 90 countries and support requirements associated with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), ISO 9001 and sustainability frameworks.
The companies expect the integration to provide greater visibility throughout the cold chain, from smart monitoring devices used during transportation to cloud-based dashboards and automated reporting. The approach is intended to help pharmaceutical companies identify potential supply chain risks and respond more proactively to temperature excursions, delays and other disruptions.

The partnership comes as pharmaceutical logistics increasingly adopts AI-enabled control towers and predictive technologies. Such platforms can analyse real-time sensor and transportation data to identify potential delays, temperature risks and other disruptions before they affect shipments, allowing logistics teams to take corrective action earlier.
The shift is particularly relevant for complex and temperature-sensitive products, including cell and gene therapies, where maintaining specific environmental conditions throughout storage and transportation is critical. The growing adoption of digital monitoring, specialised packaging and predictive analytics is expected to play an increasing role in improving resilience, visibility and efficiency across pharmaceutical cold chains.
