Revvity, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire ACD/Labs, a global provider of scientific software that supports analytical characterization and molecular design for pharmaceutical and material sciences. The acquisition will expand the capabilities of Revvity Signals by enhancing its ability to translate analytical data into actionable insights. The deal is expected to close late in Q4 2025.

ACD/Labs brings long-standing expertise in analytical and process chemistry, offering tools that help scientists identify and characterize molecules, monitor purity and quality, and support robust production processes. Its portfolio includes the Spectrus Platform for spectral analysis and the Percepta Platform for AI-driven molecular property and ADMET prediction, along with applications such as Katalyst D2D, Luminata, and ADMS.

Following the acquisition, Revvity Signals and ACD/Labs will offer broader support across the scientific workflow—from discovery and development to scale-up and manufacturing—enabling faster data interpretation and decision-making. Revvity Signals president Kevin Willoe said the integration will create a unified SaaS environment connecting molecular design, analytical science, and manufacturing quality control.

Revvity provides solutions and technologies across the health sciences, with 2024 revenue exceeding USD 2.7 billion and a workforce of 11,000. ACD/Labs delivers cloud-enabled software to improve productivity and accelerate innovation in chemical and pharmaceutical R&D globally.
