Rs 100 crore invested by Chemo Pharma to expand operations in Telangana

Chemo Pharma, based in Spain, has announced a '100 crore investment in Hyderabad for the establishment of its second-line production of pharmaceutical dosage forms. Additional QC and Stability Labs were created in the business's Hyderabad site in 2021, and the company is now preparing to begin commercial operations using the second line manufacturing. 

In addition, the Chemo Pharma wants to open a new Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient and Research and Development Center in Hyderabad, as well as continue new product development in solids and injectables in Genome Valley. 

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao met Jean Daniel Bonny, Chemo Group R&D director – Pharmaceuticals Generics Business. 

Chemo India Formulation, based in Genome Valley, Hyderabad, began operations in 2018 with the research, development, and production of pharmaceutical finished dosage forms, with a focus on oral dosage formulations. Since then, the company has experienced phenomenal expansion, investing over '170 crore and employing 270 employees.
