SprintRay Unveils Pro 2 Desktop 3D Printer and Next-Gen Resins Revolutionising Dental Care

SprintRay, a dental 3D printing technology company, has introduced the latest addition to its lineup of desktop 3D printers, the Pro 2, alongside two resins from its BioMaterial Innovation Lab.

These advancements, coupled with a strategic partnership with Ivoclar, signify a major leap forward in dental innovation, offering dentists and orthodontists unprecedented speed and flexibility in patient care.

The Pro 2, boasting cutting-edge Optical Panel technology, sets a new standard in precision and throughput. With a 35-micron XY resolution and 385 nm UV light, this printer can produce up to 6 full-arch dental models in just 15 minutes while maintaining over 99 percent dimensional stability. Paired with the new Dental Model and direct print Retainer resins, the Pro 2 enables the fabrication of appliances with unparalleled anatomy and precise marginal fit.

Amir Mansouri, PhD, Co-Founder, and CEO of SprintRay, emphasized the transformative impact of the Pro 2, stating, "Previously, dentists had to choose between precision and production throughput. Pro 2 eliminates this paradigm." He highlighted the printer's industry-leading speed, expansive build area, and exceptional accuracy, making it ideal for both high-volume orthodontic production and precise restorative appliances.

In addition to the Pro 2, SprintRay unveiled two resins from its Biomaterial Innovation Lab. First is SprintRay Retainer which facilitates direct 3D printing of retainers, streamlining production processes for faster turnaround and same-day delivery.

The second is SprintRay Dental Model which is an advanced resin tailored for orthodontic and dental models, offering substantial speed enhancements and enhanced accuracy for digital workflows.

Furthermore, SprintRay announced plans to integrate Ivoclar's resins into its 3D printing ecosystem, broadening access to a diverse range of restorative materials. The collaboration aims to empower dentists and labs with a comprehensive library of leading materials, enhancing treatment options and patient outcomes.
