Emcure Pharmaceuticals has secured the India licensing rights to a portfolio of nephrology and transplant drug brands from F. Hoffmann?La Roche Ltd.

Under the agreement, Emcure will acquire commercial rights to several branded prescription medicines used in the management of kidney diseases and in post-transplant care for patients in India. The deal strengthens Emcure’s presence in high-priority therapeutic areas and expands its portfolio in nephrology and transplant medicine.

The licensed products include key treatments that support prevention of organ rejection and management of chronic kidney conditions. These brands have been established in the Indian market, offering Emcure opportunities to leverage existing clinical recognition and physician familiarity.

The transaction allows Emcure to take over marketing, sales and distribution responsibilities for the acquired brands in India. This enables the company to deepen its engagement with specialists, nephrologists and transplant clinics across the country.
