Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has announced that three of its subsidiaries—Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Taro Pharmaceutical Industries and Taro Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. (Taro USA)—have entered into a settlement agreement with a plaintiff in the In re Generic Pharmaceuticals Pricing Antitrust Litigation pending in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, US.

Under the agreement, the subsidiaries will make a settlement payment for a confidential amount in exchange for a full release of all claims asserted against them in the litigation.

The release also covers the subsidiaries’ current and former parents, affiliates, predecessors and successors, as well as their current and former directors, officers, employees and representatives.

Sun Pharma said other terms of the settlement agreement remain confidential.
