Suraksha Diagnostics Partners with United Imaging to Launch 20+ Advanced Imaging Centres in Eastern India

Suraksha Diagnostics, a leading diagnostics service provider in Eastern India, has announced a strategic partnership with United Imaging, a global innovator in medical imaging technologies, to establish over 20 state-of-the-art imaging centres across the region. With a total investment of Rs. 200 crore, the initiative is aimed at enhancing diagnostic capabilities and improving healthcare accessibility in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

This collaboration will bring cutting-edge imaging solutions such as MRI, CT, and PET-CT to underserved areas, significantly boosting early diagnosis and treatment efficiency. United Imaging will provide its advanced technologies, while Suraksha Diagnostics will leverage its expansive regional network and established reputation for quality and affordable healthcare.

The initiative aligns with Suraksha’s commitment to delivering cost-effective, high-quality diagnostic services to a broader population. The upcoming centres will offer a comprehensive suite of imaging services, reinforcing the company's position as a trusted healthcare provider in Eastern India.

Dr. Somnath Chatterjee, Chairman and Joint Managing Director of Suraksha Diagnostics, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We are thrilled to collaborate with United Imaging, a pioneer in advanced imaging technologies. This collaboration will help us expand our reach and provide high-quality diagnostic services to more people in smaller towns and semi-urban regions.”

Founded in 1992, Suraksha Diagnostics has grown into a leading diagnostics network, offering more than 2,300 tests in pathology, radiology, and medical consultancy. Its operations span a central reference laboratory, eight satellite labs, 59 diagnostic centres, and 166 sample collection points across West Bengal, Bihar, Assam, and Meghalaya. Suraksha has also adopted AI-powered smart labs and digital platforms to improve operational efficiency and patient care.

In December 2024, the company completed its IPO, raising Rs. 846.25 crore with an oversubscription of 1.27 times—an indication of investor confidence in its growth prospects.

United Imaging, established in 2011, is renowned for developing next-gen imaging systems that combine cutting-edge hardware, AI-driven software, and intuitive design to enhance diagnostic accuracy and clinical workflows globally.
