TempraMed Opens New Florida Manufacturing Facility to Boost Output and Cut Costs

TempraMed Technologies Ltd, a medical technology company focused on improving the storage and management of temperature-sensitive medications, has opened an additional manufacturing facility in Florida, strengthening its production footprint in the United States.

The new facility expands the company’s operational capacity and is expected to support rising demand for TempraMed’s temperature-stable medication storage devices across the US and international markets. By increasing domestic manufacturing, the company aims to improve service levels for business-to-business customers while reducing cost of goods sold through localized production and more efficient logistics.

The Florida site will support high-volume manufacturing of TempraMed’s core products, including VIVI Cap and VIVI Epi, as well as upcoming offerings such as the VIVI Box smart storage platform. The expanded capacity is designed to shorten delivery timelines, enhance quality control and provide greater flexibility across the supply chain.

TempraMed said the additional manufacturing capability will also help open new global opportunities for B2B customers, including large healthcare organizations, pharmacies, payors, device manufacturers and global retail partners. The facility is part of the company’s broader commercialization strategy and is intended to strengthen supply-chain resilience as demand grows for temperature-sensitive therapies.

Ron Nagar, chief executive officer of TempraMed Technologies, said the new site marks an important step in scaling the company’s US operations to meet accelerating demand, particularly for fast-growing segments such as GLP-1 therapies, biologics and self-injectable medicines. He added that domestic manufacturing enables greater speed, reliability and cost efficiency, while supporting the company’s commitment to reduce medication waste and ease operational burdens on healthcare systems.

The Florida facility will operate alongside TempraMed’s existing global manufacturing network, providing redundancy and a scalable platform for future product launches. TempraMed expects continued growth in B2B demand as healthcare systems and pharmaceutical companies increasingly adopt higher standards for in-home and point-of-care temperature management.

TempraMed Technologies develops patented, US Food and Drug Administration-registered thermal insulation devices that protect medications without requiring batteries or external power. Its product portfolio includes VIVI Cap, VIVI Epi and a forthcoming smart technology platform designed to support the safe handling of temperature-sensitive medicines in everyday settings.
