Thermo Fisher Scientific has launched a new Bioprocess Design Center in Hyderabad to support India’s growing biologics and biopharmaceutical manufacturing ecosystem. The facility aims to help companies accelerate the development and scale-up of biologics, vaccines, and advanced therapies.

The center will offer end-to-end support in bioprocess design, optimization, tech transfer, and training. It is equipped with advanced single-use and scalable bioproduction technologies, enabling pharma and biotech firms to reduce development timelines and improve manufacturing efficiency.

Thermo Fisher intends for the Hyderabad center to function as a collaboration hub, where scientists, manufacturers, and start-ups can work closely with the company’s experts on process challenges and innovation. The site will also provide hands-on education programs to strengthen workforce skills in bioprocessing.

The launch reinforces Thermo Fisher’s commitment to expanding its presence in India and supporting the country’s ambitions in biologics research, development, and manufacturing. The company expects the center to play a key role in accelerating access to high-quality biologics for both domestic and global markets.
