Uhlmann Pac-Systeme Opens New Branch in Jakarta to Establish Local Presence

Uhlmann Pac-Systeme, a global leader in pharmaceutical packaging systems, has further expanded its footprint in Southeast Asia with the opening of a new branch in Indonesia.

The Germany-based family-owned company, headquartered in Laupheim, has been active in Indonesia for many years, with numerous machines already installed in the market.

Uhlmann established its local subsidiary, Uhlmann Indonesia, in June 2025, aiming to strengthen the country’s pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors by enhancing local production capacities through advanced technology and technical expertise.

“With our newly established local presence in Indonesia, we can provide optimal support to Indonesia's growing pharmaceutical industry by reducing downtime and improving production. In doing so, we are helping to secure resilient supply chains and faster access to essential medicines for the local population,” said Eratraga Wirya, Regional Director of Uhlmann Packaging Systems Singapore.

At ALLPack Indonesia 2025, Uhlmann showcased its latest innovation — the ECO 350 blister line, designed for maximum efficiency in pharmaceutical packaging. The machine delivers outputs of up to 450 blisters and 300 cartons per minute, featuring a GMP-compliant, easy-to-clean design. Its user-friendly Smart Control HMI enables intuitive operation of all processes, allowing format changes to be completed in just 30 minutes.

In addition to this machine, Uhlmann showcased the company's entire range of services at the trade fair, from innovative packaging machines and digital products to comprehensive service offerings.

With a dedicated local team now in place, Uhlmann Pac-Systeme is focusing on on-site service, shorter response times and fast support for customers in Indonesia.

Last year, the company opened its new office in Singapore, which is almost three times bigger than the its previous facility. Machines assembled in Singapore include the B 1240 blister machine, C 130 cartoner machine and the B 200 blister machine.
