UPSIDA, JNPA Partner to Position Lalitpur Pharma Park as Export Hub

UPSIDA, JNPA Partner to Position Lalitpur Pharma Park as Export Hub

Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) has signed an agreement with Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) to develop the Lalitpur Pharma Park into a global pharmaceutical export hub.

The collaboration aims to strengthen logistics, streamline export processes, and enhance connectivity between the pharma park and international markets. By leveraging JNPA’s expertise in port operations and UPSIDA’s industrial infrastructure capabilities, the initiative is expected to significantly boost pharmaceutical exports from the region.

The Lalitpur Pharma Park is being developed as a key manufacturing cluster, with a focus on attracting domestic and global pharmaceutical companies. The partnership will also facilitate efficient supply chain management, reduce turnaround times, and improve ease of doing business for manufacturers.

This move aligns with India’s broader vision of becoming a global pharmaceutical manufacturing and export powerhouse, while positioning Uttar Pradesh as a strategic hub for pharma production and international trade.
