Zuellig Pharma, a prominent healthcare solutions company in Asia, has successfully concluded the acquisition of two renowned brands, Cialis® (Tadalafil) and Alimta® (Pemetrexed), from Eli Lilly and Company (Lilly) for specific ASEAN markets. 

The acquisition covers Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Thailand through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zanovex Pte. Ltd. (Zanovex). Zanovex will now own the trademarks, marketing authorizations, and license manufacturing know-how for Alimta®, a well-established chemotherapy drug for treating non-small cell lung cancer and malignant pleural mesothelioma, and Cialis®, a leading men’s health product for erectile dysfunction treatment.

ZP Therapeutics, the commercial arm of Zuellig Pharma, will take charge of promoting the two acquired brands in the relevant markets. This move follows ZP Therapeutics' pre-acquisition responsibility for promoting and distributing the brands under a broader, long-term strategic partnership with Lilly in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand.
