Zydus Wellness, the consumer care arm of Zydus Lifesciences, has announced its first international acquisition with the buyout of UK-based vitamins and supplements company Comfort Click for approximately INR 2,800 crore (GBP 239 million). The acquisition, executed through its wholly-owned subsidiary Alidac UK Ltd, includes all Comfort Click’s subsidiaries across Ireland, the US, and India, marking a major stride in Zydus’s global expansion.
Comfort Click, known for digital-first wellness brands like WeightWorld, Maxmedix (gummy supplements), and Animigo (animal health), posted revenue of GBP 134 million for the year ending June 2025 and achieved an impressive five-year CAGR of 57 percent. The acquisition builds Zydus Wellness’s entry into the growing vitamins, minerals, and supplements (VMS) market, estimated to be worth over USD 50 billion globally by 2030.
Sharvil Patel, Chairman of Zydus Wellness, described the move as a strategic push to strengthen its digital health and personalised wellness capabilities, while Tarun Arora, CEO, added that the acquisition will deepen global reach and demonstrate a strong commitment to innovative, consumer-centric solutions.
This acquisition positions Zydus Wellness as a serious player in the fast-growing global VMS segment, combining its strong Indian market presence with newly acquired international reach and digital-first product lines.
